Netflix in partnership with the AKQA agency, carried out a very special project where real people help Klaus and Jesper, characters from the new Netflix animation, to bring the joy of Christmas to underprivileged children.
In the campaign, people signed up on the website to be Klaus' helpers. From then on, they received a kit with parts and instructions to assemble a customized toy in their homes. With the toy ready, assembled and painted, people sent it back, free of charge, to Netflix to send to the final audience. All toys were destined for underprivileged children from Fundação Amor Horizontal.
The project was supported by thousands of people who signed up on the site. Photos of the Christmas campaign and of several people who participated in building the toys can be found on Instagram with the hashtag #AjudantesDoKlaus.
