Ambev launched a campaign on International Women’s Day in which it argued that the term “cervejeira” does not refer to an brewery, but rather to women who work in the beer market.
The campaign showed the difference between searching for the term “cervejeiro” and “cervejeira” on Google. In the first case, men appear holding beer. In the second scenario, no woman appears, but household appliances to cool the drink.
